1. The new Career Technology building at Oak Harbor High School (open house on May 6)
2. Vanderzicht Memorial Swimming Pool
3. Whidbey Island Race Week (this year from July 12 to July 17)
4. Honeymoon Bay Coffee Roasters (check them out for great espresso)
5. Walking the Freund Trail
6. Delicious lumpia and pancit
7. Bells ringing from the First United Methodist Church
8. Whidbey Island Marathon (282 finishers in 2009) and Half Marathon
9. Wine tasting at the BayLeaf
10. Fourth of July Fireworks!
11. Friday Night Lights at the new stadium
12. Smith Park (perfect picnic spot)
13. Pick up basketball game at Windjammer Park
14. Culinary Arts Program @ OHHS (winners again!)
15. Beach boardwalk, which now extends from Windjammer Park to Flinstone Park
